PolyPipe® HDPE Pipe and MDPE Pipe

For total piping system solutions, more and more customers count on the predictable quality and proven reliability of PolyPipe® polyethylene pipe.  From technical assistance and product selection, to shipping and job-site technical support, PolyPipe® delivers consistent products and service.  With extrusion facilities covering all regions of the United States and Canada, and a national network of key distributors, PolyPipe® is your pipeline to the world.

PolyPipe® Manufacturing

PolyPipe® HDPE pipe is lighter than traditional piping material, and that results in substantial savings for handling and faster, less costly installation.

Polyethylene pipe is produced in coils or straight lengths.  Since polyethylene is not a brittle material, it can be installed with bends and over uneven terrain easily in continuous lengths without additional welds or costly fittings.

Lightweight and Flexible

Continued emphasis, not only on standard material specification, but new and improved resins for research and developmental opportunities, are always in the forefront of our material selection. PolyPipe only purchases select resins meeting our demanding standards, all of which at a minimum meet or exceed all applicable industry, ASTM, and Third Party Certifications.

Joining

PolyPipe® HDPE pipe and MDPE pipe can be joined by a variety of methods. The preferred method is heat fusion. This encompasses butt fusion, saddle fusion, socket fusion and electrofusion. This type of connection offers a completely leak proof, fully restrained joint. PolyPipe can also be joined with mechanical and flanged connections.

Cost Effective, Long Term and Permanent

When compared to traditional piping materials, PolyPipe® polyethylene piping systems offer significant cost savings in installation, labor, equipment, and man hours with trusted, engineered solutions. PolyPipe® polyethylene piping systems offer freedom of design and long life and they virtually eliminate maintenance costs, providing the longest life expectancy available.

Corrosion, Abrasion, Biological Agent and Chemical Agent Resistance

The inherent properties of polyethylene make it extremely resistant to scale build up, which can lead to decreased flow rates, and it is impervious to most aggressive chemicals and corrosive elements. Controlled tests have shown PolyPipe® will generally out-perform steel pipe in many applications for abrasion resistance by a ratio of 4:1.

Superior Flow Characteristics

The exceptionally smooth inner surface of PolyPipe® HDPE pipe offers minimal resistance to flow and the flow remains relatively constant for the life of the pipe, unlike other products that must allow for a reduction in flow capacity over time.

Versatile Product Line

PolyPipe® products are ideal for many oil, gas, industrial, mining, municipal and specialty applications. What other piping system offers zero leak joining?
